A few days ago the first edition of the Pizzafestival ended, a great event organized for the 30 years birthday of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana, and to celebrate the pizza in Naples and abroad. Valoriani ovens, as Gold Partner, was a main character of this moments of amusement, entertainment and culture.
Every day about 10.000 people rushed to the more than one hundred pizza places, AVPN associated , both in Italy and abroad. 2.000 children and adults have attended the laboratories about pizza that took place in Piazza Dante, in Piazza Plebiscito hundreds of Neapolitans and tourists were present at the flash mob “I Love vera pizza napoletana”. These are the staggering numbers that will make the festival an annual date.
The Valoriani professional pizza ovens have supported the emerging and master pizza maker during the several events, thus revealing itself like fundamental partner for whoever would like to make a perfect Neapolitan pizza. During the laboratories in Piazza Dante, almost 500 people per day among students, Neapolitans and tourists, had the chance to attend courses about making process technique, hold by Pizza Master. Very crowded were also the professional seminars for workers in the sector.
And yet: events, appointments, tastings and competitions about, like the one for “Miglior Pizzaiolo Emergente Straniero”, organized by AVPN and Witaly. An exciting competition for pizza makers from Japan, Taiwas, the USA and Brasil, selected for their commitment and the value of their activity in promoting pizza and its ingredients all over the world. Their pizzas, rigorously baked in the TRAILER VALORIANI, have been judged by a technical jury composed of journalists and international known chefs. The winner of the competition, the Brazilian Andre Nevoso Guidon from pizzeria “Leggera Pizza Napoletana” in San Paulo, received the award from Luigi Cremona and the AVPN President Antonio Pace.
Pizzafestival confirmed itself like an effective event to contribute to the growth of pizza culture in Naples and all over the world; thus sensitizing the workers in the sector and pizza lovers about the right techniques, ingredients and instruments to make the unique and incomparable taste and fragrance of Vera Pizza Verace Napoletana.
