The event organized by Witaly and Luigi Cremona is back to Rome with the new Cooking for Art edition, during the “Birroforum” in Lungotevere Maresciallo Diaz. Valoriani will be there as Main sponsor with one of its professional ovens for pizza, available to all of the Master Pizzaioli and competitors of Pizza Chef Emergente of Central and Southern Italy 2016.
From the 25th to the 27th of June, the “Birroforum” Village houses the best Made in Italy products of about one hundred selected companies. Twenty young chefs, coming from several Central and Southern Italy regions, will challenge their selves in front of a jury made of renowned chefs and experts in the field. Simultaneously, also the best young Pizza Chefs of Central and Southern Italy will challenge their selves to be selected for the finals of the award Italian Emerging Pizza Chef 2016.
The competitors of “Pizza Chef Emergente of Central Italy 2016” will be the following; from Lazio: Marco Capri, (Ristorante Origano), Pier Daniele Seu (Gazometro 38) and Tiziano Casiddu (That’s Amore). From Tuscany: Pier Luigi Madeo (Pizza Man) and Santino Iannello (Pizza Man Novoli)
The competitors of “Pizza Chef Emergente of Southern Italy 2016” will be the following; from Campania: Luigi Basilico, (Ristorante Pizzeria Il Branzino), Angelo Rumolo (Grotto Pizzeria Castello) Alessio Sisinno (Degusta), Valentino Tafuri (Tre Voglie), Ciro Riccardi (Le Parulè) and Francesco Vitiello (Casa Vitiello). From Puglia: Antonella Di Terlizzi (Peoples).
On Monday 27th of June, some of the most famous Master Pizza Chef will show their mastery in cooking shows and will offer tastings to the public. Some well-known names will be: Stefano Callegari (Sforno, Sbanco, Tonda e Trapizzino), Enrico and Carlo Alberto Lombardi (Pizzeria Lombardi 1892), Arcangelo Zulli (La Sorgente), Guglielmo Vuolo (Pizzeria Vuolo), Ciro Oliva (Concettina ai tre Santi), Massimo Giovannini (Apogeo), Gabriele Bonci (Pizzarium), Vincenzo Piedimonte (Ritrovo la Scala), Thomas Morazzini (Urbino dei Laghi) and Vito de Vita (Scuola Napoletana Pizzaioli).
Cooking for Art will be a unique occasion for lovers and workers in the sector, with an opportunity to see live chefs and pizza chefs – famous and emerging ones – working on a professional Valoriani oven, especially the Trailer, certified by the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana and a resource in the service of pizza maker to create pizzas down to a fine art.
